SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah)- FanX Salt Comic Convention, formally known as Comic-Con, kicked off it’s first of three days filled with celebrities and events Thursday. Cosplayers and fans from around the country are gathering at the Salt Palace Convention. Organizers said since its first years they’ve been able to expand bringing in new celebrities events. Celebrities say they loving coming to Salt Lake for the family-oriented show that meeting their fans one-on-one really means a lot.

SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah)- Save yourself the hassle of parking and take TRAX to FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention this week. FanX kicks off Thursday and to help accommodate the chaos, UTA has expanded their hours. On Thursday and Friday, there will be longer trains on all Blue, Red, and Green service lines all day. SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah) - The deadly shooting at a video gaming tournament in Jacksonville, FL on Sunday prompts security questions about large events in Utah, such as FanX, which is expecting more than 100,000 people this year.
