(Daily Herald) FanX Salt Lake announced Wednesday that actor Jason Momoa will appear at the 2018 comic convention in Salt Lake City next month.
Momoa is known for playing Aquaman in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “Justice League” and a standalone “Aquaman” film set for release Dec. 21. He is also known for his roles as Khal Drogo in HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” Ronon Dex in “Stargate: Atlantis” and Conan in “Conan the Barbarian.”
The actor will appear at the convention Sept. 8 for autographs and photo ops, including a special combined photo op with Batman actor and fellow Justice League member Ben Affleck, according to Bryan Brandenburg, FanX co-founder, and chief marketing officer.
“We were hoping, after we booked Ben Affleck, that we could add another member of the Justice League, and (Jason Momoa) was kind of our top choice because we’ve got ‘Aquaman’ coming out, and he sold out so fast last time he was here that we thought it’d be great if the rest of the fans had a chance to meet him,” Brandenburg told the Daily Herald (…)
