(The Daily Herald) - When it comes to heroes, it’s hard to think of many more pure of heart or worthy than the Avengers — from Tony Stark to Hawkeye, Hulk to Captain America, especially. Yet throughout “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” a running joke is a moment when they all gather to try to move Mjolnir, Thor’s Hammer, and none of them are able to do more than make it budge. Then comes Vision, an artificial intelligence uploaded into a synthetic body powered by the Mind Stone, who easily and effortlessly raises the hammer to hand it to Thor.
The astonishment that rippled through the Avengers at that moment in the film carries a similar vein to how fans of FanX: Salt Lake Comic Convention responded all throughout Thursday evening.
GIFs, guesses and punny comments ran rampant on the FanX social media pages as Marvel fans gathered to speculate, wish, dream and hope which guests from Avengers might be announced next.
