You must have a valid FanX 2020 wristband for each day in attendance. This wristband is your ticket. Use your wristband to scan in and out of the Salt Palace.

You may buy tickets online for a limited time. Tickets can also be purchased at Registration if available, This is a great option if you want to pay with cash. At-the-door prices are posted on our Ticketing Page.

The South entrance of the Salt Palace will be open daily at 8am, featuring an exclusive entrance for VIP/Gold attendees. ADA accessible doors are on 200 south and the tower doors.
The East entrance (round tower) will open daily when the Vendor Hall opens for VIP/Gold attendees: Friday at 11am and Saturday at 10am.
If you activated your wristband prior to the event, you are welcome to walk right in at either of these entrances.

At the event, ADA assistance can be requested at Registration or any Customer Service Booth during the event.
The Family Room (Room 253A) will be available on the second floor, east side of the Salt Palace, close to the tower entrance/exit. There will be a secluded pipe and drape area inside 253A for nursing or pumping.
A quiet room (Room 253B) will be provided for attendees who need a place away from crowds and stimulus. Visit Registration or any Customer Service Booth during the event for access.
Service animals are allowed, as long as they are on a leash and are not aggressive. You also have to clean up after your service animal.
FOOD AND WATER
Food will be available to purchase inside the Salt Palace.
The Salt Palace typically does not allow outside food. Exceptions will be made for people with food sensitivities or medical conditions. Small snacks and baby food are okay.
Many water fountains are available for use around the convention center. You are permitted to bring an empty water bottle into the Salt Palace.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
ATMs will be available throughout the Salt Palace Convention Center.
Backpacks, purses or shoulder bags are allowed, but are subject to search.
There are no lockers or coat check at this event.
Wall outlets throughout the convention center will be available to use to charge your phone/tablet.
Smokers must be at least 25 feet away from any entryway to be in compliance with the Utah Clean Air Act.
The internet connection will be very weak due to the sheer number of people in attendance. Do not rely on your smart phone’s internet connection while you are at the event. The FanX Mobile App does not need internet in order to send you push notifications about schedule changes.
AREAS OF THE CONVENTION
The Salt Palace opens daily at 8 am for Registration in Hall E.
Panels are located in the following rooms: Grand Ballroom, 250A, 151D, 150G, 151A, Kid Con and the Convention Stage – Exhibit Hall 1831 (see map above)
Sometimes panels may begin before the Vendor Hall opens, but this will not affect attendees of any ticket level. Panels are not held inside the Vendor Hall.
KidCon is located in Room 255.
Mother’s Nursing & Family Room is located in Room 253A
Quiet Room is located in Room 253B
Cosplay Room is located in Room 251A
Gaming Lounge is located in the Red Room/East Lobby.
The Vendor Hall opens and closes at specific times of the day. See hours on this page.
Celebrity Row, the Photo Op Area, Artist Alley, and KidCon all take place inside the Vendor Hall
