E.G. Daily has starred in more than fifteen feature films as an actress and leaped to the top of the charts as a singer/songwriter. Recently EG has starred as Candy in “Devils Rejects” directed by Rob Zombie, she appears in National Lampoons “Pledge This” playing the role of Kathryn Johnson (Paris Hilton’s mother), and the starring role of Mustang Sally. EG’s credits also include Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, Dogfight, Valley Girl, Streets of Fire, Fandango and Lover Boy. She does voices for many current animated series including “Power Puff Girls” as Buttercup and the Emmy award-winning “Rug rats”, where she is the voice of Tommy Pickles. “Rugrats” is beginning its eleventh season as Nickelodeon’s top-rated series.
Daily resumed her role as the voice of Tommy Pickles in both animated feature films “Rugrats” and “Rugrats In Paris”. She can also be heard as the voice of Babe in the live-action feature “Babe II: Pig in the City”. Additional voice-over credits include Starship Troopers, Recess, Woody Woodpecker, Eek the Cat, Duck Days, Duckman, Jungle Cubs, Problem Child, and Baby Blues. She also provided the voice of Froggie in the feature film The Little Rascals as well as Bam Bam in The Flintstones, and Lorenzo in the Academy Award-winning feature film, Lorenzo’s Oil.
She can be herd on Countless Radio and TV campaigns and most recently she provides her voice in the Feature Film “ Happy Feet”. As the Lead character mumbles the toddler. Daily has also recently completed a DVD version of the critically acclaimed Theater production of “Listen Closely” an Autobiographical musical. The show was one of the most successful 6 week Runs at the well-respected Court Theater in LA with standing ovations nightly. It then returned due to popular demand at the Lee Strasburg Theater for two additional six-week runs. The Listen Closely soundtrack is also available on CD.
In addition to her extensive voiceover work, Daily co-wrote and co-produced three solo albums, Two of them “Wild Child” and “Lace Around the Wound” on A&M Records. Several of E.G.’s songs soared to the top of Billboard’s dance charts and became well-received music videos, including “Say It, Say It”, which became a number one hit. Daily has also composed music and performed on a number of soundtracks, including Thief of Hearts, Scarface, The Breakfast Club, Summer School and Better Off Dead and has collaborated with many well-known producers, such as Giorgio Moroder, Keith Forsey, Stock Aitken, Waterman, Jelly Bean Benitez and Harold Faltermeyer.
In addition, she worked with producer Bob Ezrin on the song, “Heart That’s True” for the “Babe, Pig in the City” soundtrack. EG also lends her singing voice to the soundtrack in the upcoming Warner Bros. animated feature film “Happy Feet”. Her third CD, “Tearing Down The Walls”, was co-produced by E.G. along with Grammy-Award winner Brad Gilderman and Harvey Mason Jr.
