Loretta Jane Swit is an American stage and television actress known for her character roles. Swit is best known for her portrayal of Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan on M*A*S*H, for which she won two Emmy Awards.

She was in several other TV Shows including Hawaii Five-O, Mission: Impossible, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Love Boat, Batman: The Animated Series, Murder She Wrote,  The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, as well as films Race with the Devil, Whoops Apocalypse, Forest Warrior, Beach movie, and Play the Flute.
