Scott Steiner is an American professional wrestler best known for winning numerous championships in WWE, WCW, TNA, and Japan.

Scott was an NCAA Division I All-American folkstyle wrestler at the University of Michigan before making the transition to professional wrestling along with his brother Rick.

In the 90’s, The Steiner Brothers were the most dominant tag team in the world along with his winning titles in WWE, NWA, WCW, and New Japan Wrestling.

In the late ’90s, he adopted his legendary Big Poppa Pump character sporting bleached hair, a multi-color goatee, and his trademark chainmail headpiece. In 2000, he dethroned Booker T to become the WCW World Heavyweight Champion and held the title until the company was purchased by the WWE.

Scott went on to have legendary feuds with Sting, Bill Goldberg, Triple H, Kurt Angle, and many of the biggest names in wrestling. His “Steiner Math” promo remains one of the most quoted interviews in the history of wrestling.

Scott was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022 along with his brother and has recently appeared on NXT in support of his nephew, Bron Breaker.
