Robert Clark Gregg is an American actor, director, screenwriter, and voice actor, best known for the role of Agent Phil Coulson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has appeared in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, The Avengers, and the television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., making him the actor with the longest screen time in the MCU.
Gregg has also co-starred as Christine Campbell’s ex-husband Richard in the CBS sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine. He also played FBI Special Agent Mike Casper on the NBC series The West Wing and Cam, the on-and-off boyfriend of Jack (and client of Grace), on the NBC series Will & Grace. He has also been in Law & Order, Sex and the City, CSI: NY, The Road to Christmas, Comedy Bang! Bang!, We were Soldiers, Spartan, 500 Days of Summer, Mr. Poppers Penguins, Joss Whedon’s Much Ado About Nothing, Labor Day, and Choke, which he was also writer and director of. As a voice actor, he has done work on the animated television series Ultimate Spider-Man and in the video games Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Lego Marvel Avengers, and Marvel Heroes.
He will appear in Captain Marvel, premiering in March 2019.
