Nicole Evangeline Lilly is a Canadian actress and author. She is best known for her starring roles as Kate Austen in the ABC series Lost, Tauriel in The Hobbit film series and Hope van Dyne/Wasp in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp. Evangeline also starred in Real Steel with Hugh Jackman, The Hurt Locker with Jeremy Renner, Little Evil with Adam Scott, and Afterwards with John Malkovich.
Evangeline’s foremost passion has always been writing. She is the creator and author of The Squickerwonkers, a children’s graphic book series about a young girl who joins a group of characters she described as “this family, the Squickerwonkers, and they’re strange outcasts who all have very particular vices.”
She reprises her role as the Wasp in Ant-Man and Wasp, which will be released later this year, and a (currently untitled) Avengers movie due out in 2019.
