Richard Greene earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy in 1998 at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Most of his research is in the areas of epistemology and the intersection of popular culture and philosophy. He is currently working on his seventeenth book on philosophy and pop culture (the forthcoming Spoiler Alert! It’s a Book about the Philosophy of Spoilers) and has lectured on philosophy and pop culture at the Smithsonian Institution. He serves as the Chair of the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl Board and is the Director of the Richard Richards Institute for Ethics. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the ukulele.
