SLTrib – FanX adds ‘Spider-Man’ star Tom Holland to line-up for September convention

A friendly neighborhood superhero will be swinging into the FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention in September.

British actor Tom Holland, who has played the heroic web-slinger Spider-Man in five Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, will be a guest at the convention, Sept. 5-7 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in downtown Salt Lake City, organizers announced Tuesday.

The Salt Lake City event is one of only three conventions this year Holland will attend, FanX founder and show producer Dan Farr said. As Spider-Man, Farr said in a statement, “Tom has really captured the hearts and minds of fans around the world and Salt Lake City, and has become a fan favorite(…)”
