SALT LAKE CITY — FanX Spring Comic Convention is almost here, and the celebrity guests list is filling in nicely.
FanX announced on Wednesday that comedian, writer, actor and Monty Python founding member John Cleese will join the spring lineup, along with young actor Asher Angel. Angel pairs well with last week's announcement of actor Zachary Levi, as the two actors play the child and grown-up version of the same character — Billy Batson. SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Fans of Monty Python will be happy about a new guest scheduled for FanX 2019.
Monday, FanX announced comedian John Cleese will be coming to Salt Lake City for the April 19-20 event at The Salt Palace. Cleese is a co-founder of the Monty Python comedy troupe which formed in the late 1960s.
In addition to roles in Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Life of Brian, Cleese is known for numerous roles in film and television including parts in "A Fish Called Wanda," and the Harry Potter films.
