SALT LAKE CITY — FanX Spring Comic Convention is almost here, and the celebrity guests list is filling in nicely.
FanX announced on Wednesday that comedian, writer, actor and Monty Python founding member John Cleese will join the spring lineup, along with young actor Asher Angel. Angel pairs well with last week's announcement of actor Zachary Levi, as the two actors play the child and grown-up version of the same character — Billy Batson. (DAILY HERALD) It may be April Fools’ Day, but FanX: Salt Lake Comic Convention is not joking when it comes to the latest guest announcement for its spring 2019 lineup: acclaimed actor and comedian John Cleese.
The announcement was shared through Facebook late Monday afternoon and caused a flurry of comments referencing not only the actor’s vast career but also some epic enthusiasm for the growing list of celebrity guests pegged for attendance at FanX April 19-20.
