(Salt Lake Tribune) The newest superhero in DC Comics’ movie roster, “Shazam!” star Zachary Levi, is coming to FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention. So will his teen alter ego, Asher Angel.
Convention organizers announced Friday that Levi will appear at the event, set for April 19-20 at the Salt Palace Convention Center. Asher was added to the list Tuesday.
In “Shazam!”, which opens nationwide on Friday, April 5, Levi plays the superpowered alter ego of 14-year-old Billy Batson (Angel), who must navigate his newfound powers and the responsibility that comes with them(...)

(Salt Lake Tribune) Familiar faces from the worlds of Harry Potter, Marvel, Disney and more will be appearing at the spring edition of Salt Lake’s comic convention FanX, organizers announced Tuesday.
Event founders Dan Farr and Bryan Brandenburg appeared via Facebook Live for the event’s first “virtual press conference,” during which seven celebrity names were announced for the lineup.
