Patrick Warburton


Patrick Warburton is an American television, film, and voice actor best known for his roles in SeinfeldThe TickRules of Engagement, and The Emperor’s New Groove. His memorable characters are often stereotyped by Warburton’s bulky figure, deadpan humor, and signature voice.
Warburton began acting and modeling at age 19 and would land his first film roles in 1987. Throughout the 1990s, Warburton would appear in guest roles on many popular TV series, including Quantum LeapNorthern ExposureMurphy BrownGrace Under FireDave’s World, and Ellen.
His first major role on television came in 1995, appearing as Elaine’s on-again-off-again boyfriend, David Puddy, on Seinfeld. He also appeared on News RadioLess Than Perfect, and in the lead role of the 2000s series Rules of Engagement. He also starred as the main character of the campy, yet short-lived TV series The Tick.

Warburton is an accomplished voice actor, most prominently known for his role as Kronk in Disney’s The Emperor’s New Groove and its TV and video game spin-offs. He collaborated with Disney for several other roles, providing the voice for Steve Barkin in the Kim Possible series and Buzz Lightyear in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. He appears as the “flight attendant” in the instructional videos for Soarin’ Over California at Disney’s California Adventure park and Soarin’ at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT and also voices a robot in Disneyland’s Star Tours: The Adventures Continue.
