FanX® Salt Lake Comic Convention™s are Dan Farr Productions’ annual events and are now the most attended conventions in the state of Utah and the largest comic convention in North America per capita. The conventions have attracted celebrities like Stan Lee, Chris Evans, Mark Hamill, Jeremy Renner, Elijah Wood, Dick Van Dyke, Tom Felton, Jason Momoa, Matt Smith, Sir Patrick Stewart, Buzz Aldrin and so many more.

Dan Farr Productions was co-founded by Dan Farr and Bryan Brandenburg and is an event and marketing group devoted to organizing events, launching and acquiring new shows, and partnering with premium celebrities and brands in the pop culture arena. Dan Farr Productions is dedicated to producing spectacular celebrations of popular culture that lead the market in providing exceptional and rewarding experiences for our consumers, fans, celebrity guests, vendors, and partners.

Every week our social media pages and groups reach 1-2 million people and is one of the most engaged and active comic convention social media community in the world.

Mission:

To build and create a diverse and inclusive convention by embracing and embodying these principles throughout our organization.

This requires all employees, volunteers, and stakeholders to do their part. Management must understand and value diversity and inclusion to lead and manage an engaged workforce. Everyone must treat their colleagues with respect by listening to different viewpoints, opinions, thoughts, and ideas and by embracing a culture of inclusion.

 

Strategic Objectives:

To achieve our vision and mission, we have established the following strategic objectives:

Diversity – Improve the representation of women and minorities at all levels of our organization and integrate both Veterans and people with disabilities by driving talent acquisition and management practices to achieve these results.

Inclusion – Create an inclusive environment that promotes creativity, innovation, and fan engagement through awareness and inclusive leadership skills training, and promoting inclusive and diversity topics, guests, and communities.

Communications – Ensure that Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, actions, and results are transparent to all key stakeholders.

External Relations – Engage various external stakeholder groups that support and serve FanX’s values and interests, including our diversity suppliers.

Accountability – Hold leadership accountable for Diversity & Inclusion goals and objectives.
