Alicia Silverstone is an American actress best known for her roles in Clueless, Blast from the Past, and Batman & Robin.

She made her film debut in the thriller The Crush, earning the MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance, and gained further prominence as a teen idol when she appeared in the music video for Aerosmith’s “Cryin'”. She went on to star as Cher Horowitz in the teen comedy film Clueless, which earned her a multi-million dollar deal with Columbia Pictures. She is also in True Crime, Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Miss Match, The Baby-Sitters Club, Braceface, American Woman, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, with appearances in America Horror Story, and The Wonder Years.

Silverstone has published two Vegan cookbooks: The Kind Diet, and The Kind Mama.
